History
In 1958, Ferdinand Daigle, Sr. founded “Daigle Midway Service,” in Frenchville Maine, where the company specialized in cooling and heating automotive system repair. In 1964, Ferdinand Daigle, Jr established “Automotive Electric,” with the focus being on electrical repair. Through the years, the company expanded, specializing in custom rebuilding and troubleshooting of all automotive electrical systems.
Ferdinand (Paul) Daigle III, took over the family business turning his electrical and technical expertise toward the public safety sector. In 1981, Autotronics was established and became a distributor and service center for multiple specialty component manufacturers for many local municipalities. The company continued to grow and their reputation became well known for leadership, professionalism, and outstanding customer service; while maintaining a close partnership with vendors and manufacturers specializing in emergency vehicle design.
Autotronics, LLC. is a 4th generation family-owned-and-operated business. The president, sales manager and service manager are all members of the Daigle family. The youngest son of Paul and Lita Daigle, Kaden recently finished an intense accelerated semester long course at WyoTech College in Laramie, Wyoming graduated in May 2024, with a certificate in Collision and Refinishing and works full-time at the Remount facility in Frenchville, ME.
Today, the company and their well-known reputation continues to grow based on leadership, professionalism, and their outstanding customer sales and service; while manufacturing the highest quality of ambulance remounts and maintaining a close partnership with vendors and other manufacturers specializing in emergency vehicle design.
